Just made - ready for selling-cushions!



Kate Bentley and I have just finished making these cushions from vintage scarves.
 We love them and we're selling them at our sale on 11th and 12th October-if we can bear to part them!

The ones with snaffles and equestrian accoutrements look so brilliantly graphic- they would look great a masculine room.





I adore this still life one- it's so unusual as a scarf and works even better as a cushion!

I  just designed and pattern cut this dress for the beautiful Emily to wear to a wedding somewhere scorching in USA.

work in progress....

It's made from a fabulous printed silk satin. you can see here where I've tacked it together that the print forms a 'bullseye' over the bum and fans out.

 Finished result...I hope Emily will forgive me posting this pic of hers- I'm waiting until she's  back from the wedding( maybe the dress will be trashed?! -if it was raucous one?!) to do a proper little photo shoot!

 July?!Summer?! What Summer? Bright and cosy was my aim. Matching my door a bonus-Patrioticism optional!

Cold feet here -but at least the shoes are not too high!wearing vintage jumpsuit under Isabel Marant Jacket. Please buy the Sunday Telegraph Stella magazine on Sunday 22nd July- I'm in it!!and very excited about it too !
